High School Football
Last month I spent three days with Klein Collins High School's Varsity Football team. Coach Blaine Toshner taught me about American football and put me through some of the drills the kids run during their summer training. I learned a lot about football and had a great time with the team. Here are some photos from the shoot:
This was our last shoot for the pilot- so now it's time to edit and hopefully sell the show!!! I've had such a great time making it- and hope it gets picked up so I can keep travelling, learning, and meeting amazing people.

Cowboys
I've done some amazing things this month- and have been really busy- so forgive me for not updating you sooner. About three weeks ago I went to Salt Lick BBQ, here in Austin, TX, and Scott Roberts, the owner, gave me some lessons in Texan BBQ. It is such a great restaurant with a real American history. Scott's parents started the restaurant forty years ago, with no electricity, no building, and just a smoker on the side of the road. Today Salt Lick serves about half a million people every year.
I learned to cook ribs, brisket, sausage, potato salad, coleslaw...I'm no expert, but I learned a lot. Right after finishing with Scott we headed to West Texas where I met a couple of cowboys and went on a round up. What an experience. Here are some photos from the week, I think they capture my time better than words can:

Mother in law prank- dog doo.mov
Let it be known- I'm a bit of a prankster. And, I happen to live in the same town as my mother-in-law. That's a recipe for disaster.
