About Me

My name is Gaz and I'm from Blackpool, England, one hour northwest of Manchester. I was raised on football, beer, and bad weather. I am a plumber by trade but have always wanted to travel, so I left home at the age of nineteen and during the following ten years I visited over twenty countries spanning four continents. Three years ago I met my wife, an American born and raised in Texas. I have successfully completed the immigration process and now live in Austin. Before moving here I knew very little about America, and even now, after being in the country for five months, I still know very little. I believe if I’m going to live here it’s important for me to know as much about America as I can. So, I’m setting off on what should be a brilliant journey. I'm going to travel every state and meet as many people as I can, and I hope that they can help make me an American.
